MANOS

MANOSはスペイン語で手を意味します。

“「手」が機械と違うのは、心と繋がっているから。手はただ動くのではなく、
いつも奥に心が控えていて、働きに悦びを与えたり、また道徳を守らせたりする。”

EYESIGHT

1996年にMANOSを始めて以来、「これが好き」「あれがあったらいいな」という単純な気持ちで
現在に至ります。全く個人的な考え方ですが、普段の暮らしの中で自分たちが囲まれるものに沢山の
ものは必要ないと思います。一生の中で出会うものも人も限りがあるから、
だとしたら本当に良いもの、好きなものに出会いたいと思います。既製の価値によるものではなく、
個々の価値観で、 それぞれが好きなものを拾い上げ、生活を人生を創っていけたらと思うのです。
そして生活のパーツひとつひとつがそんな風に意識されることでより楽しみに溢れたものになるはずだと思います。
MANOSで紹介していくことはそういう私たちの目線で集められたものです。

We have assembled things we are actually inspired by since we launched our store in 1996.
We don’t think we need many things around us in our real life. Maybe,there is a limit to
what we can encounter in life. If it's true,we really want to encounter genuine things,people as well.
That is why we keep carrying our selection which is inspiration-based,
not pressured by commercial demands,not driben by trends.
We believe everyday life for every person can be more joyful,fresh and beautiful
through creating one's own lifestyle.
